Healing Service Terms of Purchase

Online & Distance Reiki Sessions

By booking or purchasing a distance Reiki session from Shine Souls (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“you”, “the client”) agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not book or purchase a session.

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

We provide online / distance Reiki healing sessions, which may include:

  • Energetic healing performed remotely

  • Intuitive insights or energetic feedback

  • Chakra balancing and energy clearing

  • Follow-up notes or messages (where stated)

All sessions are delivered energetically at an agreed time and date and do not require physical presence.

2. NATURE OF REIKI & DISCLAIMER

Reiki is a complementary, holistic practice intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, emotional wellbeing, and energetic balance.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Reiki is not a medical treatment

  • Reiki does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition

  • Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, therapy, or professional mental health support

If you have physical or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. NO GUARANTEES OF RESULTS

Every individual responds differently to energy healing.

We do not guarantee:

  • Specific outcomes or results

  • Healing of conditions

  • Emotional or energetic experiences

Your experience may vary from session to session.

4. ELIGIBILITY & RESPONSIBILITY

By booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent)

  • You take full responsibility for your wellbeing during and after the session

  • You understand the nature and limitations of Reiki

5. BOOKING, PAYMENT & PRICING

  • Sessions are offered for a one-time, flat fee

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking

  • Prices are subject to change without notice

Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.

6. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Due to the time and energetic commitment involved in providing distance Reiki:

  • All sessions are non-refundable

  • Once a session is booked and scheduled, refunds are not available

  • If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible

At our discretion, we may offer a reschedule with reasonable notice, but this is not guaranteed.

7. DISTANCE SESSION PROCESS

For distance Reiki sessions:

  • We will connect energetically at the agreed time and date

  • You do not need to be present online unless stated

  • You are encouraged to rest, relax, or set an intention during the session

Any intuitive feedback shared is offered as guidance only.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY

All personal information shared before, during, or after your session is treated as confidential and will not be shared, except where required by law.

9. GEOGRAPHICAL RESTRICTIONS

Due to regulatory and business limitations, distance Reiki services are not available to clients located within the European Union (EU).

By booking, you confirm that:

  • You are not located within the EU

  • You are not booking on behalf of an EU-based individual

10. PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

  • The service is not appropriate for your needs

  • You request services outside the scope of Reiki

  • Behaviour is abusive, inappropriate, or disrespectful

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damages arising from participation in Reiki sessions

  • You accept full responsibility for how you experience and integrate the session

12. GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.

13. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking or purchasing a distance Reiki session, you confirm that:

  • You understand Reiki is a complementary practice

  • You agree to these Terms of Service

  • You accept the non-refundable nature of the service

  • You meet the geographical eligibility requirements
